Jump Start has another stakes weekend

Incabade Crane: This already proven son of Jump Start once again showed his valor in the West Point H at Saratoga on 8/21/10. Plagued with a troubled trip this horse closed to finish third. Congratulations to all connections, we will all hope for a better trip next time out.

Assessment: Winner of G2 Longacres Mile in 2009 took on the strongest field assembled to date for his repeat. The eventual winner was Noosa Beach five time stakes winner already this year and stable companion to Assessment. Assessment was defiant in finishing third and will surely continue his graded stakes earnings deep into the season.

Jump Start has continued his strong season with two impressive 2 year olds on Thursday 8/19 /2010

Spring Jump (Ghost Ridge Farms graduate) aired on her second start at Penn National (MSW) in a blazing 58.2/5 This young filly broke clean and was never headed winning wire to wire, a filly that would in time go two turns, seems to have all the right qualities. We wish all the connections a long and prosperous racing career.

Jinny Jump Up: This Hugh Robertson trained filly was indeed very impressive in her debut finishing second to Honey Chile (second time starter). The filly seemed green as she slowly made her way from the gate and settled eventually in the mid pack. Rounding the turn she found her self boxed and being reined back to avoid clipping heels. Honey Chile had kicked for home when Jinny Jump Up finally got clear in the lane and with a very impressive turn of foot closed 8 lengths to finish a very close second. Watch for this filly next time out as a hotly contested MSW during million week can produce exceptional talent.

Greatness produces powerful surge

Besitos: After the crowd was left in a state of shock, from the upset victory of yet another European raider in the Arlington Million this impressive filly was not to be out done. In a strong field for the Hatoof Stakes she broke at the back and was well behind the leaders for the majority of the race. Turning for home the surge of speed shown by this young filly was comparable to Dubussy in the million. Finishing a strong second to Silent Candy we expect very positive things in the future.
