Ghost Ridge Racing Stables partnerships offer the privilege to participate in every aspect of owning a race horse. Every thoroughbred partner is encouraged to make regular visits to the farm, meet the trainers and jockeys, and enjoy the perks of owning a thoroughbred. Thoroughbred owners are updated through web updates, telephone, or email, depending on the status of each participant. We take great pride in keeping everybody informed to ensure the best horse ownership experience.

You will receive monthly updates, progress reports, and additional photos of your horse. Each horse will be listed on our website providing current status and additional information.

Being a partner, you can make frequent visits to our facility, watch your horse during its routine exercises, and be as involved as much as you desire.

Purse Distributions

• First Place receives 60% of the total purse
• Second Place receives 20% of the total purse
• Third Place receives 10% of the total purse
• Fourth Place receives 6% of the total purse
• Fifth Place receives 4% of the total purse.

In addition, the trainers will receive 10% of any purse winnings, the Jockeys will receive 10% of a winning purse, five percent for purses if finishing second or third, and a flat fee of $50 to $100 per mount for finishing off the board.

Ghost Ridge Racing Stables receives 5% of any purse earned as a management fee to offset the expenses of maintaining the partnership - staff, offices, accounting fees, etc. All earnings go toward improving our services and facility.
